This map provides a look at the proposed locations for noise walls along The Southern Gateway study area. TxDOT proposes to provide noise mitigation by constructing 31 sound walls totaling a length of 3,616 linear feet (6.4 miles), ranging from 12 ft to 14 ft in height and achieving a 5 decibel reduction or greater for 383 benefited receivers, Thurgood Marshall Park, Christian Methodist Episcopal Church and a Dallas Independent School District (DISD) school.
